What does over/under 2.5 goals mean?
It's a bet on the combined goals scored by both teams. Over 2.5 needs at least three goals in the match; under 2.5 wins if there are two goals or fewer.
Why is the line set at 2.5 and not 2 or 3?
The half-goal removes the possibility of a tie. A whole-number line like 3.0 can be a push (stake returned) on exactly three goals, whereas 2.5 always settles as a clear win or loss.
Do over/under tips count extra time?
No. Total-goals bets are settled on the 90 minutes plus stoppage time only. Goals in extra time or penalty shootouts do not count.
