League Two table 2026/27 & predictions

The fourth tier is the last division with a trapdoor out of the Football League entirely, and that shapes the whole season: three clubs go up automatically, four more contest a play-off, and the bottom two drop into the National League. Twenty-four clubs play forty-six matches and there is usually very little between them, so the table compresses and a run of three wins can move a club ten places.
